Resolume Arena è l’evoluzione di Avenue. Oltre ad integrare tutte le funzionalità del fratello minore, Arena offre dei potenti strumenti aggiuntivi. L’aggiunta principale è quella del mapping avanzato. Questa funzione consente di suddividere il video in più porzioni, applicare correzioni geometriche e allineare i contenuti alle superfici reali. Questa è una caratteristica fondamentale per ottenere un projection mapping preciso al pixel ma anche per gestire infinite configurazioni di LED wall.
Altra utile funzione è quella dell’edge blending ovvero la possibilità di utilizzare più videoproiettori per creare un unico schermo. Arena consente non solo di allineare le varie superfici tra loro, ma di utilizzare la funzione di soft edge per lavorare sulla correzione dell’overlapping di luce data dalla sovrapposizione delle superfici proiettate.
Arena è studiato per i grandi eventi, quindi in questa versione è possibile sincronizzare i propri contenuti tramite timecode SMPTE, Denon StageLinQ o Ableton Link. È uno strumento molto utile anche ai lighting designer per la sua capacità di gestire segnali DMX in ingresso e in uscita (tramite Art-Net o adattatori USB-DMX compatibili), grazie alla possibilità di creare delle fixture personalizzate ma soprattutto grazie al suo pixel mapping integrato.

Resolume Arena is the evolution of Avenue. Besides integrating all the features of its youngest brother, Arena offers some powerful additional tools. The main extension is advanced mapping. This feature allows you to split a video in more sections, apply geometrical corrections and align contents along the real surfaces. This is an essential feature to obtain a very accurate projection mapping and also to manage endless LED wall configurations.
Another useful feature is the edge blending, that is the possibility to use more than a video projector to create a single screen. Arena allows you not only to align different surfaces, but also to use the soft edge feature, i.e. to work on the correction of the brightness of the overlapping surfaces.
Arena is designed for big events, so in this version it's possible to synchronize contents through timecode SMPTE, Denon StageLinQ or Ableton Link. It's a very useful tool also for lighting designers, thanks to its ability to manage input and output DMX signals (through Art-Net or USB-DMX adaptors), to the possibility to create custom fixtures and above all to its integrated pixel mapping.

With Syphon on the Mac and Spout on Windows you can share visuals in real-time between Resolume and other apps running on the same computer. You can even program your own apps that integrate with Resolume.
