Akai MPC Key 61

The new Akai MPC Key 61 incorporates the many years of experience Akai has gained with their legendary MPC series and controllers. The result is nothing less than one of the most advanced music workstations that leaves nothing to be desired for the producer and beat maker.

More than 6,000 sound presets invite you to explore. These are generated via the 25 integrated plug-in instrument engines. The library contains more than 13 gigabytes and covers all the sound potential that the modern producer is looking for.

To further shape the sound, more than 100 effects of first-class quality have been integrated, including basics like reverb, compressor, sidechain or even wacky effects like pitch, timestrech and much more cover everything to realize the next complete productio.

In the center of the operation is the large 6.9 inch LED display that is even multi-touch capable and allows comfortable editing directly on the device. So that the playing of drums works perfectly, 16 MPC pads are provided, which offer the unmistakable feel that no other manufacturer achieves. Of course, the semi-weighted 61-key keyboard, which offers aftertouch, can also be used for note input.

Sampling or recording your own instruments is easier and higher quality than ever before, thanks to the built-in 24-bit audio interface with integrated phantom power.

The Akai MPC Key 61 runs standalone and can be used directly without a PC. Optionally you can connect it with the included MPC2 software (PC and MAC) to expand the number of tracks, integrate VST(i) or edit the arrangement comfortably on the big screen.
