P20-DS è l'ultimo arrivato della famiglia P ed è amplia la gamma dei nuovi, sofisticati e potenti presentation switcher prodotti da Pixelhue. Basato su un’architettura hardware FPGA di alte prestazioni, è in grado di elaborare video a risoluzione 4K 60p 4:4:4 a 10 bit con un de-interlacciamento dell'immagine ad alte prestazioni. Nasce con un'ampia varietà di connettori 4K per interfacciarsi con tutti i dispositivi video più recenti. Gli ingressi includono infatti HDMI 2.0, DP1.2, 12G-SDI e 8 porte in fibra ottica 10G. Queste ultime “copiano” le uscite HDMI 2.0 per consentire agli switcher stessi di trasmettere segnali ai controller dei display LED su una distanza fino a 10 km senza convertitori in fibra, con una evidente risparmio anche nei costi.Gli ingressi disponibili sono 8 x DP 1.2 / HDMI 2.0 + 4 x 12G-SDI, mentre le uscite 8 x HDMI 2.0. A queste si aggiungono 4 uscite AUX HDMI 1.3 che si possono, appunto, collegare a dispositivi ausiliari come i teleprompter e un'uscita Multiviewer dedicata fornita per il monitoraggio live di tutti gli ingressi e le uscite da un display.Rispetto al P20, il P20-DS offre in più 4 uscite 12G-SDI e 2 porte Gigabit Ethernet a doppia ridondanza per Dante (conformi allo standard AES 67), ma non dispone dei 4 connettori 12G-SDI loop sugli ingressi.Pixelhue P20-DS può funzionare sia in modalità switcher che PGM in base al tipo di applicazione. Nel primo caso, si hanno due uscite 4K x 2K @ 60 Hz. In modalità PGM, viceversa, 8K x 4K, sempre a 60 Hz. Grazie a questa doppia modalità di lavoro, a ingressi / uscite a 4K reali senza sotto-campionamento del colore, elaborazione video di alta qualità con transizioni e visualizzazioni fluide, mosaico immagini impeccabile, vari effetti di transizione, questo presentation switcher della serie P è la soluzione perfetta per eventi live di medie dimensioni e molte installazioni fisse che richiedono elevata affidabilità, facilità d'uso, la miglior qualità possibile dell'immagine e funzionalità di elaborazione 4K live all'avanguardia.In termini di layer, P20-DS ne supporta 12 DL (2 x MAIN + 10 x PIP) o 8 DL (4 x MAIN + 4 x PIP) con la possibilità da parte degli utenti di poter organizzare liberamente la disposizione delle stesse. Inoltre, sono disponibili fino a 128 preset per soddisfare le diverse esigenze. Le immagini ad alta risoluzione possono essere catturate da ingressi e uscite live e utilizzate come background. Inoltre, il P20-DS è dotato di funzionalità DSK avanzate tra cui luma key e chroma key e supporta SDR, HDR10 e HLG con la conversione tra questi formati.Molto flessibili le opzioni di controllo, che ne fanno un apparecchio estremamente versatile ma anche semplice da utilizzare. Queste opzioni prevedono tasti retroilluminati sul pannello frontale e display LCD grafico da 5” per l’accesso diretto alle funzioni, oppure in alternativa l’utilizzo della console live U5, l’utilizzo di un’intuitiva interfaccia GUI Web e stream deck. Sono poi supportati diversi metodi di backup, incluso il backup della sorgente di input, di output e il backup del dispositivo per salvaguardare gli eventi. Il passaggio dal dispositivo primario a quello di backup è istantaneo.Da ultimo, segnaliamo l’eccellente qualità costruttiva e dei componenti elettronici che caratterizza P20-DS, rendendolo estremamente affidabile nelle condizioni d’uso più gravose. P20-DS is the latest addition to the P family and expands the range of new, sophisticated and powerful presentation switchers produced by Pixelhue. Based on a high-performance FPGA hardware architecture, it is capable of processing 4K 60p 4:4:4 10-bit video with high-performance image de-interlacing. It comes with a wide variety of 4K connectors to interface with all the latest video devices. Inputs include HDMI 2.0, DP1.2, 12G-SDI and 8 x 10G fiber optic ports. The latter “copy” the HDMI 2.0 outputs to allow the switchers themselves to transmit signals to LED display controllers over a distance of up to 10 km without fiber converters, with obvious savings in costs.The available inputs are 8 x DP 1.2 / HDMI 2.0 + 4 x 12G-SDI, while the outputs are 8 x HDMI 2.0. In addition to these, there are 4 x AUX HDMI 1.3 outputs that can be connected to auxiliary devices such as teleprompters and a dedicated Multiviewer output provided for live monitoring of all inputs and outputs from a display.Compared to the P20, the P20-DS offers 4 more 12G-SDI outputs and 2 dual redundant Gigabit Ethernet ports for Dante (compliant with the AES 67 standard), but does not have the 4 x 12G-SDI loop connectors on the inputs.The Pixelhue P20-DS can operate in both switcher and PGM modes depending on the type of application.
