It also has enough SPL handling and a -10dB pad to handle large brass, guitar amps and bass cabs. And its three polar patterns - cardioid, omni and figure-of-eight - add to the already impressive versatility of this microphone.

The microphone is equipped with premium, fully discrete components such as an EF86 pentode tube, high-bandwidth polystyrene capacitors and a large-core transformer from Lundahl, Sweden.
